The iABED Industries MQB Oil Cooler kit is designed to aid with the notorious oil cooling issues that plague the EA888 line of engines.
The OEM heat exchanger is inadequate in maintaining oil temperatures below 240°F (115°C). Tracking vehicles in extreme heat often causes oil temperatures to rise above 275°F, forcing the driver to back off to prevent permanent damage.
Our solution maintains oil temperature at 221°F (105°C) and can even go as low as 90°C if specified.
We proudly use and sell the finest components in the industry, such as Mocal/Setrab for oil cooler cores, BAT for nylon braided lightweight hoses & fittings, and high-quality Canadian T6061 for our machined components.

Track-Tested & Proven:
"Went to the track today and at last we were able to run a complete session without fear of extreme oil temperatures!
Installed the 16 row kit from iAbed Industries the other day and snapped photos as we went, I will upload these in the next day or two as soon as I get back to my camera. Took the car for a few laps (about seven miles) around the shop, high rpm / wide open throttle driving getting into boost repeatedly saw oil temps stay under 221*, at a ~70F ambient temperature night. I tried hard, but could NOT get the car to get any hotter!Extended (40-45 minute) freeway driving in about 70-75*F at 70-75mph saw oil temps in the 189-191* mark.
Driving around the track was a blast, the first 2 laps were used to warm up the Yokohoma Slicks, and then the rest of the session we opened the car up, hanging out with the usual 991 Porsches and GTRs. As hard as I could try, I could not get the oil temps past 255-257*F in ~75*F ambient weather. That is even with the heat switched off!
For those who haven't been following, we have tracked the car many times this year, from rainy sessions in January to hot sessions in the middle of the summer. Oil temperatures regularly hung out at about 270*, sometimes reaching 275-277* before we had to back off, even with the heat on full blast on a hot day. Depending on outside temps, that would be about 2 laps in after warming up the tires before the oil temp would hit the 275 mark, we'd back off for a lap to get down to 260, another hard lap back to 275, back off, etc.
Today was just hard laps, no backing off! Extremely pleased with this kit, we can't wait to get back out there on the track."
